Famous Cameos

Did you know?

Sheryl Crow was a backing singer for Michael Jackson on his Bad tour in 1988?

Or that Michael and Jermaine Jackson provided vocals for Rockwell's 1984 hit "Somebody's Watching Me"

Sting co-wrote Dire Straits Money for Nothing and also features on the backing track.

Didn't mean to repeat myself but:
Two other interesting facts - Melanie G, formally known as Melanie B also covered Cameos Word Up in June 1999 and sold 50,000 copies,it was also featured on the Austin Powers 2 Soundtrack. It was the lowest selling Spice Girls related single of the 1990s!
Also the band Cameo was also known originally as the New York City Players
